Snowed In

It snowed. A lot. In the matter of a day. It took me like forty-five minutes to make a fifteen minute drive home from work. There were no lanes, just five mph and mysteries. SUV's and semis drove like maniacs while the rest of us held on tight and hoped for the best. The exit to my house was so bad that all the cars slid into the median. The road leading to my house wasn't a road, but rather a slushy mess. I was almost home and the semi in front of me got stuck and I almost died trying to get around him. But then suddenly plows came out and it kept snowing and the worst was over and we drove Allison and Lisa to Cleveland without dying. It was kind of hilarious and fun. Surrealish.

With all of that said, I HATE WINTER. I hate snow. I am not made for Ohio. I honestly don't know how I've lived here my entire life. On the upside? These photos are super pretty. My backyard is a nice backdrop.

So, this favorite coat, EVER. It's from H&M, three years ago. Originally $200. On sale for $89. Still pricey, but it's perfect, warm and beautiful. My dry cleaner last year broke the zipper and refused to fix it. So, that needs done. Instead of fixing it, I bought a new coat. The skirt is kind of cool, but it has a wicked high waist band. We took these photos in like three seconds. Can you tell?
