Tiny Furniture

I found this gem of a dress at the thrift store earlier this summer and I hacked off a good five or six inches to make it more modern. Most floral patterns are rather understated and I loved how large and pastel the print is. I don't know what I'm going to do when winter hits and I can't wear these shoes and this hat every day.

On Friday, my sister and I went to a dive bar in Cleveland to see the band The Front Bottoms. They're an acoustic pop punk band and I adore them. If you've never heard them, you should probably look them up. Right. Now.

This is my last official post of summer break. It's a little bittersweet, but I do love college. I'm excited to embark on what might (hopefully) be my last year of undergrad.

Have any of you seen the show Girls or the movie Tiny Furniture? Both star Lena Dunham, who also wrote/directed/starred/created them. They're both very similar and about post-graduate life of twenty-somethings living off their parents. Trying and failing in the real world. I'd say the show/movie is depressing, but it's very realistic. Oh, the future. You're scary.
