This boredom is the reason

When it comes to photo locations, some happen by chance and some are old stand by's. This spot happens to be an old favorite. This abandon barn is really close to my house and the inside of it is just as cool as the outside. I find matching locations to outfits or properly contrasting outfits to locations is one of the best parts about blogging. As the weather turns colder and I start to despise the frigid cold again, I'll probably overuse my street/backyard/driveway and I'll long for the adventures of abandon barns, sunshine and bare arms.

This is an AWESOME thrifted skirt. I'm wearing it as a dress and I'll probably chop and hem it very soon. I loved that a mismatched, but similar belt came with it. Can you believe I scored this beauty for a single dollar? Deals like this are hard to come by anymore.

Sunny day style is something I cherish. There's something so freeing about a breezy dress, bare shoulders, and the sun beating down upon your skin. The sun is hiding for the season (I think, for good now) and it's lightly snowing. I suppose I must brace myself for the holiday cheer, Christmas music in every establishment, layers upon layers, hot chocolates, ice cold nights, gingerbread houses, and the dreaded and fearful snow. None of which is easy for me. I was born a summer baby, but I'm a fall child at heart. polkabarn2 polkabarnface1 polkabarn3 fb
