Poison & Wine

cupcake1

I had a truly wonderful Christmas this year! My sister was home and I was able to spend a good amount of time with my boyfriend and his father's side of the family. Two things that didn't get to happen last year. I also received some really thoughtful and amazing presents from my friends and family. If you follow me on Instagram, you probably saw the amazing rose gold Marc Jacobs watch my boyfriend got me. It's officially my first designer piece and it's BEAUTIFUL. I also got him a watch. Apparently we think alike. I'm excited to share my presents on here in the future and I hope all of you also had a lovely holiday!

Currently there's a blizzard outside. Yes, a blizzard. Everything is shutting down, no one is going anywhere, and we're expected to get around 18 inches. We're having Christmas dinner today, so a bunch of our family is here and we'll be opening our stockings. Pretty alright for a snow day. That is until I have to drive to work tomorrow, eek! But yes, it was warm and sunny last week when I took these!

This dress belongs to Rachel and it's so freakin' cute and comfy. Plus now I want cupcakes.

I made some changes around here and I hope you like it. The colors and design previously were too bright and summery for me.

  3. I love the new simpler look of your blog :). How funny that we both posted a dress from Rachel today?! You watch is so nice, Victor did a great job picking it out. My Christmas eve was really amazing but yesterday was pretty horrible. In the middle of my homemade dinner my mother in law to be freaked out on me and walked out. It was crazy! I'm just glad it's all over. I hope you find something fun to do during the blizzard :)

  14. I love the new layout! It looks great and the colors are pretty. I'm so jealous about your watch! What a great gift. I bet it is so pretty. I love your dress too. That peachy color is really flattering with your skin and hair. Yeah, I'm not really a big fan of FB because of all their privacy changes and when I found out they bought Instagram I was thinking there would probably be some weird privacy changes there too. The only reason I really like Instagram was because of the fun filters and the instant gratification of being noticed. But I have a few apps that do better filters than Instagram and I'll just have to live without the gratification. LOL. Glad you had a great Christmas! <3

  29. I love the new look of the blog. It's great. And this dress is so cute! But I wonder sometimes when you say that it was sunny and warm, exactly how warm was it. It probably still was freezing for me, lol. When it's 65 degrees I'm already very cold outside. =)
