Tip of my tongue

bluemodstripe4

I suppose it's part of growing up or maybe my tastes are evolving because suddenly I am drawn to dresses with higher necklines. There's something so sophisticated and classy about dresses in this silhouette. I'm beyond stoked that my style is gravitating towards something so pretty! I purchased this dress and another from ModCloth recently and they're such high quality thick dresses that fit perfectly. It's very dreamy! Though this dress is quite long for me, I didn't hate it.

I've been so busy and tired lately. I'm barely coherent writing this. I'm so close to being on break and indulging in all that the holiday's have to offer. Like gingerbread house makin', holiday parties, delicious treats, gift shopping and giving, ice skating and all the other lovely things that do not include snow. If we can make it all winter with no snow, I'd be pretty okay with it. Though this gloom is kind of a bummer. Can you tell how gloomy it is in these photos?

  4. WOW! This dress looks amaaaaaazing on you! I can't believe I didn't see it on Modcloth otherwise we probably would have ended up with the same dress! I think it is your age, I feel like my style has evolved so much as well. I love conservative yet sophisticated cuts, it just looks so much better than having your girls on display haha!

  17. I'm so with you on the high neckline. And the weather almost feels comforting over there. Sometimes grey skies are depressing, but usually I use it as an excuse to stay inside and chill all day. I hope you get some good rest soon!

  22. SO CUTE! Stripes are amazing on you. Seriously. So cute. I can't wear stripes. And higher necklines can be great - I love them when the backs are kind of different too. I just hate when they feel like they are strangling me!
