Hold Me Down

If you couldn't tell, it's INSANELY windy in these photos! It was quite difficult to take pictures in extreme wind, but at least my outfit looked good. This skirt is one of those that got lost in the depths of my closet and I'm glad I rediscovered it. It's such a lovely material and while I'm not a huge animal print fan, this one is subtle enough.

My little city has a plethora of delicious breakfast spots and on the weekend, I make it a point to get breakfast at least once. I don't have any time in the week for breakfast, but Sunday's? They're made for brunches. I actually managed to get brunch twice this weekend. That's pretty successful right? If you're local check out Eye Opener and Sweet Pea Cafe. Both are cheap, healthy, and have delicious coffee. Basically my breakfast requirements.

  6. I was a little surprised to see you in leopard print but I think it looks great on you. You definitely need to bring that skirt into the rotation more often :). I hate taking photos in the wind! These look great though, they always do!

Well after 6 hours in the salon my hair is brown... with hints of red. My red will not die! So it's going to take a few processes to get it to my natural color. But yeah, Kevin and I are going to start trying next month. We will see what happens!

  7. Holy windy! I usually don't like animal print so much either but I love this skirt on you with the pop of teal! The windy pics are cute too. And those are pretty much my breakfast/brunch requirements too!

  8. I feel the same way about animal print... I used to think it was kind of tacky, but lately I've been seeing it as more of a neutral. As long as it's not in crazy colors!! Also I like how half of what you're wearing is your sister's, I steal my sis' clothes ALL the time!! You look really great :)

  10. Brunch on Sunday is pretty much the best thing about the whole day - when I get a chance to eat brunch that is!
I absolutely love your leopard print skirt. The pop of color from your top is fantastic with all of the neutrals in the rest of your outfit too.

  12. I love how the leopard looks with that teal color on top. Sometimes wind can be your best friend! Most of my outside photos are spent fighting the wind. These are so pretty and fun though!

  13. You look gorgeous! I've never really liked animal prints much, but lately I'm really attacked to neutral cat prints.

Now that I think of it, I've never been out to breakfast on my own! Definitely something I should do sometime. ;)

  15. I'm such a breakfast gal myself that I wish we had places like that in my small little town.

Loving the leopard and how you mixed it up here. It is so pretty with the teal and gray. Definitely not a combo I would I thought of, but works perfectly together :-)

  21. Lady, you are one of the cutest bloggers I follow! For real, though. I'm in love with the skirt! I've never gone out for brunch D: Mister and I eat "breakfast" around 2pm every day (college life, yo) but that's not really brunch I don't think.

  22. Yum, breakfast, my favorite meal of the day. There are wonderful places for breakfast around where I live as well, but I almost never have time to visit them, so I have to get creative in the kitchen with the little time I have in the mornings. I absolutely adore this dress, and the first picture with the wind is so beautiful.
