Penny (pardy) Lane

penny4
This beauty of a dress was given to my by an amazing Etsy designer, Penny Pardy. She makes beautiful vintage inspired tea party dresses. This particular style is just one of the many that she sells and they're all super beautiful! I've never received a hand made item before and let me tell you, this is the real deal. The quality is impressive. It's thick, comfortable and has pockets! Y'all better check out Penny Pardy.

My awesome little sister, Lisa, made me this pretty little hat. She also made me a scarf and a really awesome headband. This hat is probably one of my favorites. It's a pretty color and it's so comfortable. I've been planning outfits around the color. Though maybe she should make me a few more.

If you couldn't tell, I'm FREEZING in these photos. It was so incredibly frigid when I was taking these I could barely stand outside for three minutes. Sometimes fashion bloggin' is real hard.

  3. Even if it was cold out- you don't look it. All that color makes things look bright and cheerful instead of cold.

  4. That dress is beautiful!!! You look fantastic, despite it being cold outside. By the way - can you PLEASE send some of that coldness down to me?? It's a ridiculous 82 degrees here with 100% humidity. So dense and hot. ugh.

I know what you mean about fashion blogging being hard in the frigid cold! Good thing I have photos saved up because I haven't wanted to venture outside for photos at all this last week. 20 degrees has been the high. ugh, Spring come now!

  14. Oh wow, this dress is stunning! I can't get enough of that print, it looks fantastic on you. And ugh, I am dreading taking pictures in the snow come this weekend. I haven't decided if I'm going to suck it up or just attempt to take all indoor pictures that look crappy.

  25. The hat and dress are so pretty, especially together. That is awesome that both were made with love. Eeeep. I can only imagine how cold you are in these pics! I wish it would snow where I live though. Chicago has missed all the fun snow storms the past two years.
