Blue Sunday

This is a lovely thrifted and remixed BB Dakota skirt. When I found this gem the tags were still attached. What kind of person donates such a wonderful brand new item? This is the absolute beauty of thrifting. It takes time and dedication to thrift properly, but the pay off is always rewarding.

Anyways, can we talk about my AMAZING shoes? These will be my last purchase before my Spring Break trip to the West Coast, but I HAD TO. I really had to. I found these beauties from Zara for $40. I love the quality and style of Zara, but let's be real, their clothes are expensive. I found these and was surprised to find out how cheap they were and then saddened when I realized they were out of stock. They came back in stock and sold out three times this week. I got an email at 2:00 am saying they were back and I actually got out of bed to buy them! Zara's shipping was free & they arrived in two days. So basically, Zara is the best.

Also I'm squinting, shivering and dying in these photos. It was 12 degrees with a serious wind chill. So, yeah sorry if I look like I'm frozen, it's because I actually am.

  5. Such a great thrifted skirt! I can't wait until you come out here and show me how to thrift properly. I have no patience when I thrift alone. Oh, and I'm totally that douche that donates brand new stuff.

I love those little booties too. They're edgy and pretty at the same time.

  15. I always feel 2 parts guilty, 2 parts amazed and 2 parts grateful when I grab a great thrift find and this skirt was indeed just that. I got my favorite "sailor pants" (also BB Dakota, ironically enough) with the tags still attached at a consignment shop and I was just like "whaaaaaa?" Love the boots too! Great studding and height!
