This May, myself and a handful of local(ish) bloggers will be partnering with Goodwill Industries of Greater Cleveland to put on a runway show. The idea is for each of us to design a collection of 8-10 looks purchased entirely at Goodwill for $125 or less.

I am a huge supporter of Goodwill as well as thrifting in general, so I'm really excited for the show. The runway show will take place on the first Thursday in May at Cleveland's Window on the River. I've never been there, but the pictures are beautiful.

I will be choosing the music for the models to walk to, introducing myself, giving direction on the hair/make-up (which is provided by Brown Aveda) and I'll be styling the models completely. I chose to keep the concept behind my collection very simple. The theme I picked is simply the color pink. It's quite difficult to go with an elaborate theme from Goodwill so I picked something very me and simple. We can only shop at locations in Cleveland/Canton and neither of those are that close to me, so I'm really happy with the ease and room my theme has provided me.

Rachel and I got together to do a brief little photo shoot to share tidbits of our collections. She shared hers on her blog and I have three looks to share with you today. I still need to do some more shopping and fine tuning.

For this look, I went with a more "youthful" vibe. I think this outfit would look amazing with rain boots and a little umbrella. The jacket is a wonderful and thick Gap trench, the skirt is from one of the Target capsule collections, and while you can't see it in the photos, the top has the cutest crochet peter pan collar. The belt is very detailed as well. This look is all about the details.

This outfit looked so good on Rachel! This skirt is from Target and the top was brand new with tags from Ann Taylor. I'm completely smitten with the subdued hues. This look will be completely with higher heels and a hat or headband. The accessories will completely make this outfit.

I am 100% in love with this skirt. It has the most beautiful color and the texture is stunning. I know this skirt is going to look incredible on a super tall model. The skirt is vintage and the top is from the Miley Cyrus line. I'm not crazy about the extreme detailing on the top, but I think it's fun. I might chop off some of the details off and refashion it a bit.
