I borrowed this AWESOME dress from my sister, Nicole. It's so classy & romantic -- which is truly the opposite of her style. She's more rockabilly meets grungy punk. Which is why it was so much fun to style up. I wore this to brunch in Ohio City with my sisters, boyfriend, and my girl Allison. We went to BonBon Cafe which was delicious and adorable. Pictures below of my wonderful breakfast sandwich. The sides there are cinnamon apples. Yum. We split a coconut macaroon & I want a hundred more.
It was 56 degrees and perfect outside. So, we walked around. Saw Allison's place of employment and her new apartment. She told us of the Franklin Castle. Which made the perfect photo backdrop. We didn't snap any photos of the actual castle, but it was TOTALLY creepy. Apparently it's one of the most haunted places in Ohio. I would love to sneak in and explore, but we settled for this creepy side yard that contained lots of caution tape and a pair of hot pink heels.

Seems like fun- it was also cool to see all the girls you mentioned earlier (and fun to guess which one is your sister based on the description of her style). The rooster print of the dress is unusual and I can see it working for a rockabilly feel or a more girly/classic style such as you have.
ReplyDeleteOh girl you couldn't have gotten me within 100 feet of that castle! I have a completely unfounded and unexplained fear of ghosts, angels, anything undead. Yikes. But it did make for some cool photos all right! I love the dress and how you styled it. The photo of you, your sisters and your friend is too cute!
ReplyDeletei'm glad you got to go to bonbon! isn't it so good? also, those tights are uh-may-zing.
ReplyDeleteOh gosh, this dress is so pretty. I think you need to steal it from your sister. She won't miss it, right? It looks perfect with those ombre tights. I LOVE this location too. Sounds like such a fun day!
ReplyDeleteSometimes I just wonder how you can be so perfect?
ReplyDeleteThat dresss is AMAZING on you. How adorable?! And that place sounds cool - there are so many weird places in Akron/Cleveland that are haunted. We don't get to them much since we have limited time when we come in. And that food - mmmmm...I wish I got to go to Cleveland more for food.

What an amazing dress! It pairs beautifully with that hat. Very chic spring. I love exploring haunted spots, there seems to be a lot of them in my neck of the woods. It's also a neat way to get some history about your area.

Awesome dress! The print is hard to make out -- is it birds? Women in skirts? I love it regardless. Great look, especially paired with the hat and grey tights! And whatever that food is, it looks amazing!!
