On the Pier

Wednesday, April 3, 2013

I must be a bad fashion blogger because I only took two sets of photos in California. Maybe I'm just lazy, but mostly we were busy. In a good kind of way.

These were taken at the lovely Santa Monica Pier. I was so excited to see the water, the sand, and the mountains. It was beautiful and calming. It was California chilly this day, so I dressed a little more "fall", but it was the perfect amount of warmth and comfort.

We ate at a lot of places, but my favorites were Pizza Rev (Chipotle style pizza shop for under $8!), The Local Peasant (brunch), and the Counter (build your own burgers). This also pretty much sums up my food life: veggie burgers, brunch and pizza.

I went to Disneyland for the first time and it WAS awesome and exhausting. But at least all three of us got our Minnie ears. To contrast with that, we also went to the Museum of Death. But only because we thought it would be lighthearted, cheesy, and funny. But we quickly learned that it was NOT that. It was scary, creepy, and graphic. So yeah, don't.

And on another note, if you feel so inclined, I resurrected my short lived Facebook for the blog. Come follow along for updates more than 140 characters long (aka twitter my fav social network). Right here! Do it.
