Acid Rain

I can't believe it's taken me so long to take photos of this dress. I mean, technically I did the day I got it. But the photos were just off. Anyway, it's officially summer and Ohio finally heard. It's been in the high 80's and I'm crying into the puddles of sweat surrounding me. I'm dramatic I know. Oh, so back to this dress...I had my eye on it for awhile, but it had a hefty price tag. When I finally put my mind to buying it, it was sold out. I set up a notification & to my surprise, it came back in stock! It's the perfect fit and obviously my go to print. It was a match made in galaxy print heaven.

Last night, I went and saw World War Z. Which was an interesting choice because action/thriller/horror/zombies terrify me. Not in the "I'm scared" way, but in the "I have so much anxiety when I can't predict everything" kind of way. Luckily, for me, it was very tame. It also felt like a prequel, but it was pretty good. Plus Brad Pitt.

  2. Wow! I am in love with these pictures. This dress was simply made for you. Sometimes it's just worth it to buy something you know you'll really love. I don't know what your hair color is now but I love this auburn color. I think it works wonderful with your skin tone :).

  5. Hey hey a new galaxy print! This looks great on you, and I love the hat! I don't like anxiety inducing movies either, but for me, Toy Story falls into that category haha.

  12. I love galaxy print because space is awesome! I want to get me a galaxy print dress or skirt or something! I love how you paired it with the orangey/coral heels, too! To answer your question...I just use a curling iron to curl my hair. I do it in sections to make sure that I don't leave anything uncurled. Once it's all curled, I spray it with hairspray and the trick is to brush the curls out after letting the hairspray set for a minute or two. That way you don't look too much like some prom poodle....lol. They just look more soft and flowy. :)

However, your dress is perfect for summer, the print is so bright and wonderful.

  18. I feel like this entire look just embodies everything about your style. This dress was seriously made for you! And those orange shoes are perfect with it. Ugh, summer heat, tell me about it. I always get so excited to wear summer clothes and then I immediately regret it. Is it fall yet?

  19. You look fantastic! Love this print and how you've styled it! I am kinda nervous to see World War Z because the "end of the world" drama makes me stay up at night thinking about things I have no control over, but gah, Brad Pitt, haha - I'll probably end up going to see it anyway.

  21. Oh gosh, I know-summer right?! I'm really disliking the heat also, it's hard to look cute when you have sweat running down your face! Bah...
Ah, you and galaxy print. I'm pretty sure it was made just for you because you always look AMAZING in it. What a great combination of colors too! Plus, the classic shape of the dress makes it so that the print really shines and isn't competing for attention.
Also, do you just naturally have the dreamiest ivory skin on the planet, or is there some magical potion you take to get that? No? Alright, fine you're just blessed then ;)

  24. This is such a stunning standout dress. I love it so much. The print is gorgeous. I've wanted something in this print for ages but it is always hard to find something that suits my style. This would perfectly. It is amazing how you paired it with the orange heels.

  25. I am obsessed with this dress just so cute and you look amazing in it! I want to buy it but unsure if the small will fit me and Modcloth has run out of Medium's again- sigh! Was the movie good?

  26. Love this dress but the orange accessories just make it pop so well! LOL, also saw World War Z this week but I found it quite terrifying/suspenseful. The girl in the row behind us was actually sobbing/covering her eyes... I'll admit I'm a bit of a wimp in terms of scary movies, but at least I kept my eyes open.
