American Wife

pinkkkkk555555

This week has been really hectic and nonstop for me. I didn't post last week because I was waiting for approval on two sponsored posts. Those post are now supposed to be going up next week (hopefully). So, sorry in advance for the unusual lack of schedule and the sponsoredness. I hear people really hate that? But I promise they're not too bad.

The clothing swap last week was AMAZING and I can't wait to share some photos and clothing swap tips with you.

I got this top at the thrift store a few weeks ago. I found it in the coat section and naturally, I was drawn to the color. It's a soft sweater material and I'm actually wearing it backwards in these photos. I love that both the front and back have beautiful details. This polka dot skirt has become a constant in my wardrobe. Polka dots are truly classic, but we all already know that, right?

Taking pictures as the sun sets always makes for a pretty set of photos. Well, I think so, anyways.

  3. Woh I love how the top can be worn both ways! It's so super pretty! Especially with your polka dot skirt. You're right, polka dots are the best. I think I could wear them with every outfit if I really wanted to. These pictures turned out great and your outfit is so girly and cute. I love it!

  15. you have the best luck thrifting, that top is too cute. The weather this weekend was a bit too cool for bare legs so we're gearing up for fall but this looks makes me want to wear my summer skirts dresses a few more times!

  22. These pictures are beyond beautiful. I love that top and how it can be worn both ways, I kind of like it worn backwards better than forwards! And of course, that skirt is fab and I'd totally be wearing it all the time if it were in my closet. That is, if I could still wear skirts :/
