Nothing to write home about

Wednesday, September 4, 2013

Saturday afternoon, I headed to Kent State and picked up the lovely, Lauren. We headed to my favorite local Village Discount Outlet. Where we learned it was 50% off day. Let's talk about madness. A random lady tried to take a dress out of Lauren's hands. Luckily, that didn't happen and we both scored some gems for VERY little money. After the exhausting trip and a day of no eating, we headed to downtown Akron for photographs and my favorite restaurant, the Lockview. Lauren had never been there and seeing her face upon her first bite was perfect. I was very very proud.

Hanging out with bloggers is A LOT of fun. There's so much to talk about that other people don't understand or want to talk about. Page views, followers, editing, big bloggers, opportunities, what goes into posts, and everything else. Blogging is a huge and weird beast, but it's nice to have someone who totally gets it. Plus, Lauren is really sweet and funny. After dinner, we had a really strange experience with custard? I thought it was an ice cream place, but it was custard? And I still don't understand what we ate. Some little girls asked us if we were going to a party, I answered yes, because, why not?

This outfit was a "Last Hurrah" summer outfit. At least, I think so. I've worn all these items a million times and it was so hot, I couldn't imagine wearing anything more. The temps have dropped and I'm doing what I can to wear every layer in my wardrobe. So, while it's nothing to write home about, it's definitely a very me, very summer look.
