It was my season

The weather is continuously fluctuating from day-to-night and so, I've found it best to wear outfits that can easily be added to and/or pieces removed from. My favorite kind of weather is sweater without tights (or vice versa) weather. So needless to say, I've been enjoying the past few weeks. This is a simple outfit for the simple days I've been living in & also an excuse to wear this silk Chanel scarf my mother gave me.

On Sunday, I saw Okkervil River for the first time. They are such an amazing and wonderful band. It was nice to finally see them and even better because they played for over two hours. Plus their third song was mine and Skyla's favorite song. It basically evened out that I was missing Breaking Bad...

Which by the way, no spoilers or anything, but Breaking Bad was so beautiful and perfect. I cried out of its sheer beauty. Yeah, I don't cry at funerals or during sad moments, but television? Yup. Maybe there's something to that.

Oh, and my sister-in-law's redesign of my nephew, Oren's bedroom, was featured on Design*Sponge! Which is pretty awesome because a) she's a designer b) her makeover is beautiful c) design*sponge is pretty cool. Check out the feature here.

  1. I love the scarf. There is something in your outfits and style that is seeming so.... French somehow. Something romantic.

  6. I like how neutral this outfit is and the way the scarf stands out and adds the perfect pop of color :) I love that kind of weather too - I called it shorts and a sweatshirt weather haha.

  12. Aw, sounds like you've been having a good week. I'm totally checking out the design sponge feature. I love interior design in a strange geeky way, especially cool kids rooms! I really love this outfit, every single piece in it is beautiful, and I like how much a feature is made of the scarf with the pale colours.
