It was my season

Thursday, October 3, 2013

The weather is continuously fluctuating from day-to-night and so, I've found it best to wear outfits that can easily be added to and/or pieces removed from. My favorite kind of weather is sweater without tights (or vice versa) weather. So needless to say, I've been enjoying the past few weeks. This is a simple outfit for the simple days I've been living in & also an excuse to wear this silk Chanel scarf my mother gave me.

On Sunday, I saw Okkervil River for the first time. They are such an amazing and wonderful band. It was nice to finally see them and even better because they played for over two hours. Plus their third song was mine and Skyla's favorite song. It basically evened out that I was missing Breaking Bad...

Which by the way, no spoilers or anything, but Breaking Bad was so beautiful and perfect. I cried out of its sheer beauty. Yeah, I don't cry at funerals or during sad moments, but television? Yup. Maybe there's something to that.

Oh, and my sister-in-law's redesign of my nephew, Oren's bedroom, was featured on Design*Sponge! Which is pretty awesome because a) she's a designer b) her makeover is beautiful c) design*sponge is pretty cool. Check out the feature here.
