Vending machine intelligence

Oops! I accidentally took an unexpected blogging break. Though, I must admit, it was very needed. I had been feeling pretty uninspired and overwhelmed with balancing school, life, the internet and everything else. Most of all, I was feeling completely lost within my wardrobe. It happens, I know. Well, the reason behind my break was that I moved! My boyfriend and I got a very adorable place. This is my first time living on my own. It's been absolutely wonderful. My mood has improved, my wardrobe has been rediscovered (if only because I had to go through it all) and while we are still getting settled, it's nice to finally get the internet up and running.

Anyways, now that I am done rambling, let's talk about Saturday. On Saturday, I hung out with some of the best local bloggers including, Mandi, Rachel, Megan, Abby and Jessica. We had planned to head to the Orchard, but it was ice cold and raining. So, we went and bought stuff to make an apple crisp. We headed back to Mandi's where she and Abby made us an apple crisp. Mandi had a cocktail of sorts ready for us, hummus with veggies, and other treats. We listened to music, talked blogs, and played the Game of Things. Which was A LOT of fun. Plus we got to spend some time with Mandi's beautiful baby girl. Not many kids melt my heart, but goddamn, that little Lucy is the most darling kid I've ever seen.

I love hanging out at people's houses, enjoying company and letting blog talk filter in. It's so calming and fun. Plus, we got to know each other a lot better. I can honestly say, these ladies are some of the most fun and nice gals I've ever met. Not to mention, they're all beautiful, intelligent, fun, and really good at what they do. There's nothin' better. Maybe next time we'll actually get to hit the thrift stores!

Also look at how wonderful Mandi's place is: here. It was so cozy!
