Walk the Furrows

These photos were from a few weeks ago when the weather was nicer. Before I dyed my hair again. Before the temps had dropped to the teens. But I didn't like them. Much like how I'm rather unimpressed with the photos I was going to post today. Because you know, sometimes we just need a little perspective. Plus I can almost feel the warmth in these photos and since my hands are still numb from being outside, I'll take what I can get.

I'm officially on winter break and I'm mostly spending my days working way too early, napping, cooking dinner, and going back to bed. Exhilarating, right? I need to find a way to balance working at 5:00 am and having a life. It's not easy. my keyboard is STILL broken and it takes away any interest I have in using my computer.

  1. 5:00 a.m.???? That is ungodly! I do hope you have some fun on your break, but I would also totally relish in a week of naps and cooking. I love this outfit on you and I'm glad you decided to share the photos. Sometimes the photos/outfits I'm not fond of end up being a hit for some reason.

  2. obsessing over those glasses!!!! they are seriously so cute!

  3. This is a super cute look, love the sweater and the bright tights. 5am is WAY too early for anything! I can't wait for the break too, sleeeeeeping!

  4. Aww, but I think you look really cute in these photos! I love your sweater and the sunglasses :)

  5. Well, I for one am glad you posted them since I'm loving this outfit. It's very you, and very comfy. This skirt + tights combo is fantastic. Ugh, 5 a.m. sounds the worst. I just realized I don't even know, where do you work?

Aside from that, hope you're having a great break so far!

  6. haha I love how you styled this with Winnie peeking out from your skirt : ) and I am STILL fighting these horribly cut bangs. Thank God my coworker use to cut hair for a living she is going to fix them for me.

  8. Aw I think this outfit is super cute! I love those bright pink tights. Sometimes brightly colored tights are just what it takes to make an outfit exciting. I think your denim skirt looks awesome with them.

Also ew at waking up at 5am. I don't know how I'll wake up early when I have to commute into Atlanta next semester. I'm not a morning person at all.

  9. Oh wow- I can't imagine being with it enough to work at 5am- where do you work? I hope you enjoy your break and get to sleep in a bit! Love the sweater!

  10. Very cute look, and I love your sweater so much!

  11. It's so crazy how the weather can change so fast. I also think it's funny how critical we can be about ourselves and our pictures. I think these are great! I understand your whole up at the break of dawn/trying to have a life dilemma. When I was working I rarely ever went out when I had to work the next day. Although I did it a lot more when I was your age (dear god I sound like an old lady!).

  12. Love Winnie-the-Pooh! What a cute sweater :) and I think these photos turned out great!

I definitely get that way about photos too, but I liked this set.

  14. Oooh, I love these wine colored tights! Your beanie looks super warm too.
Ugh, and yeah, balancing a life between everything else is pretty tough
