the Game Needed Me

IMG_5425

This winter is killing me. The temperatures are always below freezing, the winds brutal, the snow heavy, and I don't want to get out of pajamas. Is it over yet? I mean, really? I got this dress at the ModCloth 70% off sale. It was pretty online, but it's actually BEAUTIFUL and stunning in real life. I love stripes and flowers and the idea of having them on one dress saves me some effort. This beautiful bracelet is from Loopsway. It's so dainty yet so sophisticated and pretty.

I finally got my extensions! I ordered these about two months ago. After they charged me, they sent an email saying the color was out of stock. I've been so impatient waiting for them and when they arrived, the color was totally not what I had anticipated. I headed to my girl Stephanie and she worked some magic. My hair is now a perfect soft blonde and the extensions are flawless. Also Stephanie cut my actual hair. I now have very short hair and very long hair.

Later today Abby is hosting a clothing swap. Rachel & I organized, like we always do. We're really into the idea of a semi-annual "traveling host" clothing swap. Though it feels strange to not be in total control, but that's okay because Abby's making veggie chilli and I'll stay off twitter so I can avoid all mentions of sports.

  2. Holy heck your hair is perfection! Good things come to those who wait because these look real (and I can always spot fakes). I'm curious to see your short hair too. No joke, this dress was on my wishlist FOREVER. I swear we have some telepathic thing going on :)

  4. Oh, I love the idea of putting stripes and flowers together! It looks amazing. I absolutely love how this bright dress pops against your world of white - it's such a great contrast! And your hair looks soooo pretty! The curls are just perfect.
