who found whose hair

I remember the exact moment when I heard Owen for the first time and to me that's pretty special. When I saw him over the summer, I knew I needed to buy this t-shirt. It includes two things I can't help but love: pizza & Mike Kinsella. Since I'm really short it was hard to show off the shirt correctly. It usually looks like I'm wearing a shirt that says, "OW" in pizza. So luckily, at the swap I snagged these jeggings and while that's not my style at all, it's pretty hard to get dressed in this weather.

Speaking of the weather & blogging, I get a lot of comments from West Coast ladies saying, "Aren't you cold?" My answer: YES. Actually I'm cold from November until Spring. I have to get dressed regardless of the weather and I'm hardly outside very long. So, yeah, I'm probably freezing indoors too. Might as well take some photos. Not to mention, fleece lined tights. The best invention of all time. Eventually you simply get used to the winter. We don't learn much in Ohio, but we surely learn endurance.

This has been a very boring post. Welcome to the winter blues. But hey, today the sun came out for the first time in months. I was so freakin' happy that people were asking me if I was okay. Vitamin D, I love you, I love you.

  1. Great look and I love the red sweater against that gorgeous wintery backdrop! I used to live in a SUPER snowy city like this and although it was gorgeous I can't say I miss it all that much. I love the snow, but you're right. It's very hard to get dressed in that weather. What brand of fleece-lined tights do you like? I've always wanted a pair. :)

  4. I hear ya. This winter hasn't been too bad for us, but typically it is and I get the same comments like "how can you stand to be freezing just to take pictures??" Typically, like you say, it's not for that long. And it is freezing, but, like you said, you're outside anyways.

I love the red. It's not a color that you wear often, but it looks good and I love this casual look!

  5. i'll have to check out this group as well, i love the shirt and actually loved seeing you in jeggings. i dont mean actually like i wouldnt expect you'd look amazing in them, but just a surprise : ). Also yes, that's the big thing i forget, it's so freezing in those places you don't really spend much time outside, although it does throw me off when bloggers are outside in less layers than i had on inside our old house, which was usually around 50 degrees in winter. anyway, this cardi looks very cozy and warm too and i like all the red on you.

    1. AHHH! I love that you are an Owen fan! Polyvinyl had a huge sale a few years ago where I bought the first few records for under $30. I Do Perceive is my favorite, but ya' know, they're all great. Seriously though, I love that you know him! Not too many around here do.

    2. I do too! I only wish that they didn't wear out so quickly and get ruined with fuzz.
