I've had this dress for years. I was so smitten with it when I first found it, but then my style changed a bit or something. It's been one of those items that's been shoved into the depths of my closet, but one that I have never been able to get rid of. Which is great for those days when I cannot for the live of me think of what to wear. To completely contrast with the last post, I experimented with plenty of various colors and I totally dig it. To me, this is the perfect, "c'mon spring, get here" outfit.
This week is my "spring break" and I have no big plans or really plans at all. Which is why yesterday I headed up to Cleveland to see Grand Budapest Hotel at the Cedar Lee. The Cedar Lee is pretty much the only place around here that plays independent films. I'm very thankful for this. And I, like everyone else cool, loves Wes Anderson films. This was probably one of my favorites. Like top three status. My sister and I were starving so we over indulged in popcorn and Dr. Pepper during the movie. Which led us to shake hands on giving up soda because we only ever drink it together and we both hate it. So, baby steps at giving up our addictions. We got a late lunch, some gourmet coffee, and then I drove back to Akron. Basically it was the perfect kind of day. 'Cause sometimes all I need is to get away from Akron.
