We are nowhere

I got this skirt at our last clothing swap. It's quite a vintage gem despite it's inability to be unwrinkled. I really dig the color and have a feeling it will be making a heavy rotation into my fall wardrobe. Though fall seems so far from my mind at this point. I'm not a huge summer fan, so I'm definitely not pining for that, but I could really use a break from numb fingers, ya' know? During the winter I tend to wear band t-shirts far more than any other time. Mostly for the tiny bit of extra coverage they grant my arms. Bright Eyes has and always will be one of those bands that I love wholeheartedly and like a teenage girl. I mean, I got this shirt the second time I saw them. I was fifteen. FIFTEEN. That's a really long relationship that Bright Eyes and I have been developing.

It's officially March and my allergies are like, "SNOW IS MELTING, TEMPERATURE HIT ABOVE TEN, YOU SHALL BE UNABLE TO BREATH OR FUNCTION," It's a really grand time for my sinuses. Luckily (just kidding), we're supposed to get another ridiculous storm tonight.

Outfit Details:
Skirt: Swapped

  1. A beautiful skirt! I am always a summer fan but even more so a "it's no longer freezing" fan.

  2. This is such a great skirt, love it with the band tee and this jacket. I love having music I've listened to since I was an angry teenager and that I still listen to on a regular basis without getting sick of it.
You just reminded me that as soon as the temperature is done being -1 million I get to stop breathing because of allergies too. UGH LIFE IS HARD

  3. I love the look of band tees with skirts! I love this skirt, although I know what you mean when there is a fabric that just won't unwrinkle. I'm glad things are getting a little less bone-chilling for you :)

  13. Loving the color of that skirt and ESPECIALLY the Bright Eyes tee. I had a pretty rad shirt at one point but some asshole stole it my freshman year of college.

  15. I am in love with this skirt. Really the whole outfit, but that skirt was a great swap item! And Bright Eyes and I have had a long standing relationship too. One of the only good decisions I made as a teenager lol

  17. you know, it sounds weird but one of my regrets is not getting a shirt at one of my first "cool" concerts- modest mouse when i was, i think 17. anyway, that's great you've loved this shirt & the band that long & i'm totally lovin' this navy/burnt orange color combo you did here! my allergies are also going crazy, but i think all of arizona's is w/ everything in bloom.
