This is one of those dresses that I've been swoonin' over forever. In fact, I borrowed it from Elana sometime last year and if I thought our friendship could remain in tact if I stole her favorite dress, I probably would've. Okay, I wouldn't have, but ya' know. So, yeah, I found this on the Facebook swapping group and I about died. It's a size medium which means it's kind of big on me, but sometimes you make sacrifices for pretty things. Brown is another color I'm not crazy about, but with a print this good, I care not. (Speaking of Elana, we redesigned her blog and it's beautiful.)
I've been very busy with work, school, life, and finding the balance between it all. Some days seem better than others and sometimes I wonder how we function with only 24 hours in a day. I can't imagine how parents who work full-time feel on this subject. I don't see kids in my future and so, this helps me keep it altogether when I think about how hard it is to stay caught up.
In other new: Local Natives put on one of the best shows -- even if the crowd was the WORST. For reference a girl was eating sushi in the crowd. Tonight, I'm seeing Margot and the Nuclear So and So's. They're one of my favorite bands and I feel lucky that they tour at least once a year and never skip Cleveland/Akron. This week (woah, May) I'm also seeing another band I love, The Slackers. The Slackers are one of the few (maybe only) band that all of my siblings and I love. We have a huge crew of siblings/friends that go to every single Slackers show and like Margot, they rarely skip Cleveland. If you have the chance to listen/see any of these bands, please do! Ah, I love live music season. I seriously, cannot get enough of supporting/seeing bands live.
