OOTD; do I have a choice

One of the best parts about my short hair is that everyone will finally see how truly wonderful my headband collection is. I'd say it rivals that of season one Blair Waldorf. But mostly, I still haven't really figured out how to style my hair. I have never known, so headbands it is. I bought this skirt at the thrift store for under $5 and it's easily one of the best skirts I have ever worn. It's in a weekly rotation of "lazy" outfits for me. Oh, and this adorable fox bag? It's from Sammydress and it's AWESOME. I am thoroughly impressed by the quality of all the items I received from them.

My boyfriend and I took these pictures as the sun was setting. We decided (okay, he decided) to play around with the flash he bought earlier this year. It definitely produces a different kind of photo than I am used to. But it was a welcome change.

Oh, and my girl Gina @ Pregaming with Coffee interviewed me for her "Blogger Spotlight". If you care to know more, head on over.

  2. Yess! When I cut my hair really short, I wore headbands pretty much everyday...But, I tried looking hairstyles up for short hair on pinterest and came across a few really cute ones, you should look there! You're adorable, as always!

  3. Foxy Foxie! Lovel it! I wear headbands all the time. I also don't know what to do with my hair (except plait it or wear it down) and so I usually just wear one- I have stacks!x

  5. Ive eyed that purse on Sammygirl before, I actually have another fox purse where the whole front of the purse is just the head, either way I believe a girl can't ever have too many fox purses or purses in general. I love seeing the interesting way people layer! Like I would have never known that was a romper!

    1. Thank you, Justine! I bought the romper on a whim, but it's kind of awkward looking on me? But I love the top, so I went a little crazy. You should really look at Sammydress cause they're stuff is AWESOME.

  6. I love how a "lazy" outfit is a skirt and strappy shoes. It looks very put together, as always. I think I might have the same skirt, which I also bought from a thrift store for 2 bucks. Score.

Also, not sure if the comment I wrote on your last post went up or if my computer decided to be dumb, but your new haircut is lovely, and frames your face perfectly.

PS I might be stealing your bag.

    1. I'll send it your way, Kate! I'm really hardly a bag girl. I was being adventurous.

  8. You're such a cutie patootie! I love this outfit, and also I LOVE YOUR QUOTATION MARK TATTOOS!! I'm dying to get a semi-colon tattoo done. I've wanted one forever, and I feel like you would appreciate my nerdiness. Also, your hair really does look rad, despite you saying you aren't sure how to style it yet!!

    1. Thank you, Sammi! It feels damn good to finally be able to show them off again. And I am all about the semi-colon tattoo. In fact, I think you MUST get it done.

  10. I think the flash looks awesome in these pics! I can't wait to see more of your headband collection. I have a huuuuuge one too but I never ever wear them for no apparent reason. I'm still disgustingly obsessed with your hair <3

  11. Yay for headbands :) I always wished I could rock them like Blair does but they don't work well with curly hair. And what a cute skirt!

  12. I love headbands, but funny I wore them only when my hair was long and not when my hair was short! LOL. Yours is adorable. :D

LOVE the bag too! And the photos look great. I like the change up!

  13. I'm definitely a fan of headbands, but for some reason they usually look weird on me or get tangled in my giant mess of hair, lol! Looks great on you though :)
