I'm Not There

I scored this lovely skirt at the thrift store in the same trip that I got the plaid skirt. Needless to say, it was a very wonderful trip to the thrift store. It's a vintage Ralph Lauren and while it's longer than I like my skirts, I could NOT resist the shape, print, or colors. I mean, it's pretty much perfect, right?

I haven't cut my hair since December. I'm not sure what the heck I'm doing with it, but I am restless! I've been keeping up with the back of head trims, but it rapidly turns into a bowl shaped mullet. Which I am currently rockin'. I really dig how the right side is growing, but beyond that I am pretty much over it. I love having short hair. But I also love having hair. So, I figured I would spend hat season not cutting it and seeing where I wanted to go after that. Here I am. With no better ideas for it and a sick rat tail. What fun adventure did you embark on this Winter?

  3. Your hair was looking great today! (I meant to say something.) Also, I think a rat tail sounds amazing!

In other news, though, that skirt is really a great find!

  6. What a great score at the thrift store! The skirt is indeed perfect. I think you could rock a hair cut a la Karen O!! What do you think? I don't have any other ideas... ha ha. It's so hard to grow out a short pixie... trust me I know!

    1. The Karen O bowl cut or the Karen O rat tail medium length look or ...? Not sure a bowl cut would work on my face! haha It's a true struggle! Mostly because I can't decide if the struggle is worth it for me. My hair gets super wavy and weird in the heat...and you know what that Ohio humidity is like.

  7. I feel the same way about my hair. I love it long and short! I wish I could just alternate days between long and short hair. At least you're growing it out the right way and trimming the back. Mine grew out nice by keeping the back trimmed.

Anyway, that skirt was an awesome thrift find. Vintage Ralph Lauren for the win! I love the colors in it and it looks very cute on you.

    1. I feel like your hair grew insanely quickly. My hair simply doesn't grow that quickly and I'm so jealous of how gracefully yours has gone. You're a beast.

  8. This skirt is so happy and cheerful feeling. I personally love your short hair but definitely know how it feels to want a change from short hair too...

  9. Clearly the thrift gods were on your side that day!

I'm totally battling with the short hair conundrum too. I want to cut mine back off (more long pixie like yours) for summer but then I also liked a plain chin length cut. Either way, it's already gotten too long for me and I need something different. Ugh, choices!
