Here's to forever

My sister got me this dress for Christmas and while I've never really been drawn to clothing with food on it, I am obsessed. It has adjustable straps (which is a REAL good idea) and it's very comfortable. Plus there's pizza skull hybrids and milkshakes. Which is super rad. This isn't a dress I would've bought myself and sometimes that's the best part about gifts.

When I was a teenager, I would make the same resolution: to read 50 books a year. I would hit that goal way before the year ended and sometimes go a little over. I was seriously obsessed with reading and had a way lot less to do. Over the years, I have stopped reading as much. I blame lack of time, other interests and the Internet. I still love reading and I decided to make it a priority this year. I'm aiming for forty books because that seems doable for me! I'm already on my fourth book o the year and looking forward to many more! So, if you have any book recommendations, let me know! I'm into just about every kind genre except fantasy and 50 Shades of Grey kind of books.

  1. I wish that I read more. I could probably make time to read more--but I don't. I love your necklace!

  2. Such a cool pattern! Your sister did well :) I find that if I start reading I won't do anything else and get a bit obsessed with the book so I get behind with everything haha :) xx

  5. I hear you! I'm (rarely) drawn to prints with food on it, minus one or two exceptions. But this is such a fun dress!! The second I clicked on this post I was like, whoa, cool! And I'm trying to read a lot this year and am going to be reviewing books on the blog...starting hopefully this weekend-I've been sick and had to delay it. I read only non-fiction so maybe some things will catch your interest? XO

  6. Reading more books this year seems to be on everyone's list! 40 seems totally achievable! My goal is just to read a bit more non-fiction.

My husband (who reads 100 books a year!) and I "read" a lot of books through listening to audiobooks. Finding time to sit down and read is really hard. Listening to audiobooks at the gym, walking to work, in the car or doing the dishes is actually pretty easy... And I've decided it isn't cheating.

Also, Where'd You Go Bernedette? is a fun book, if you haven't picked it up yet.

  10. I love that print! Do you use goodreads? That's how I get a lot of my recommendations/keep track of my books. If you join/already have one here's my account to see some of the books I've read:
