Wait 'Til the Morning

If we've ever met IRL you probably learned one thing about me: I'm clumsy. I'm not your ordinary clumsy either. I'm the kind of person that frequently throws her iPhone into moving traffic, runs into walls, and sometimes falls while walking. I'm also highly destructive with electronics. I've never managed to break my phone (seriously, I throw it like six times a day on accident), but as luck would have it...I have successfully broken my third MacBook. This time. however, it's fixable and I didn't really do anything? My retina display cracked and it's going to cost A LOT of money to fix. I'm talking more than my rent. It cracked awhile ago, but it finally stopped working completely. Thankfully, my boyfriend has a really nice computer (see: not an Apple) that I can casually use. In the meantime, I'll be thinking of how I can learn to not be a destructive klutz. Are there classes for that? Let me know.

I thrifted this dress and I love the color combination. I, however, am still not exactly sure how I feel about the high-low trend. I guess it's okay, but it's also pretty weird, right? I personally would rather my whole dress be short?

Last week, I got to see one of my favorite bands, The Mountain Goats. It was my first time seeing them live and it was every bit as perfect as I had imagined it would be. I snatched up tickets months ago knowing it would sell out and not caring if I had anyone to attend with. So, I went alone, found some friends inside, and smiled all night. The drive home was horrendous as a blizzard was happening. I've managed to never really have to drive far in heavy snow. I was kind of freaking out as I couldn't see the lanes or an inch ahead of me. I, thankfully made it home with only a mild panic attack. Spring in Ohio sure is lovely.

  2. Oh my god it definitely sounds like you've got butter fingers! I hope your laptop gets fixed alright. It totally sucks when something has to set you back more than you were expecting, my laptop has broken multiple times before too and it sucks! I love your dress the colours are AMAZING kind of Cheshire-cat like! I don't mind the high-low either! Your hair is looking so great too!

  3. I am insanely clumsy as well and I can relate. I have had my iPhone fly out of my back pocket while bike riding and no damage, but once I dropped it taking it out of my pocket and it smashed to smithereens! Grrr. So annoying and frustrating when electronics break. I love this combo of the hot pink dress and the leather jacket.

  4. Omg, I am such a klutz it's crazy so I relate to all of what you said! I saw one of my faves, The Jesus and Mary Chain last year without knowing if people were going, so I totally get it! I love the colors of this dress and the jacket with it!! XO

  6. I always love your leather jacket looks. I love making pretty colors like pink more edgy with leather and studs.

That is so sad about your Macbook. I am so afraid for the day when mine shits the bed. It's getting pretty old now (5 1/2 years :\) so I worry about it. It will not be an easy thing to replace financially. Plus I haven't backed it up in years because I'm an idiot and it overwhelms me..lol.

  7. I am also very good at being clumsy. I routinely fall while standing still. I've stubbed my toes so many times (once while standing still) that I'm sure they're going to fall off some day. I've broken every phone I've ever owned. Once by dropping it on a mesh bag of dirty laundry in the middle of a tornado. Our house survived the tornado but my phone didn't survive my stumbling around in the dark. I've made so many claims with my recent phone, my insurance dropped me. I. Am. Terrified.

Buthe, the good news is you look great. I'm not into the high-low trend either. That dress is cute enough to make an exception though.

Good luck with getting your computer fixed and trying not to break it again lol.
